IILA – Paraguay Women solidarity project.

When you purchase a Stevia’s product you contribute to the INternational Project about Women of Paraguay. This project is developed and promoted by the Istituto Italo-Latino Americano (IILA), an inter-governmental institute who coordinates economic development activities between Italy and the twenty republics of Latin America.

The goal of IILA Project is to improve the Stevia’s small producers conditions of life and to reduce their social and economic vulnerability. In particular about women, traditionally excluded from economical activities.

This project was developed by General Directorate for Cooperation and Development  providing technical training to the local producers of Latin America, improving the quality of Stevia crops.

Thanks to the efforts of the “Ministerio de la Mujer of Paraguay”, as local partner of the project, were identified three different rural communities where Women already cultivate and sell Stevia. Two of them are located in Chino Que – district of the High Parana. The third one is located in San Vicente – district of San Pedro.

Stevia’s products collection were also presented at the event “Milano 2015 Per un’Expo delle Donne“.
